Offering a super range of activities and learning experiences for retired people, run entirely by volunteers for our members, U3A (University of the Third Age) is not a university! U3A aims to bring together people in their ‘third age’ (retired/no longer bringing up a family) to develop their interests and continue/enhance their learning and social life in a friendly and informal environment. Activities draw on the knowledge and experience of members to teach and learn from each other.

Mount Edgcumbe House is open to visitors Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 to 16.30 (last admission at 16:00) from Wednesday, 1st April 2020 until Wednesday, 30th September 2020. From 4th October 2020 the House will be open on Sundays only for timed guided tours at 11.30, 13:00 and 14:30.

Inaugural Railway and Model Exhibition 2020 at Mount Edgcumbe hosted by the Mount Edgcumbe Railway & Model Society (MERMS). The exhibition is being held in the Belvedere Room above the Stables Café in the Barrow Centre.
